ANSDISH HOMECARE SERVICES LLC provides developmental disability in-home services to individuals receiving care within their family home or personal residence throughout Virginia. Services are structured to support daily assistance, skill development, and routine supervision based on individual service plans. Care teams work closely with individuals and their support networks to align services with established routines and personal abilities. Support focuses on strengthening daily task participation and structured engagement. These services assist individuals with participating in home and community-based activities through organized and consistent care delivery.

Core Service Components Include:

  1. Personal Assistance Services

    (As defined under applicable Virginia waiver and program guidance)

    • Assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, toileting, mobility, and transfers
    • Medication-related assistance as permitted within program regulations and provider scope
    • Observation of general health indicators and routine reminders
    • Meal preparation and feeding assistance based on dietary direction
    • Household support tasks such as laundry, cleaning, and basic organization
  2. Skill Building and Training

    (Aligned with the Individual Support Plan – ISP)

    • Instruction and reinforcement of self-help skills such as dressing and toileting
    • Money management instruction, including budgeting and purchasing tasks
    • Support with time organization, daily schedules, and task sequencing
    • Travel and mobility instruction, including community navigation and public transportation use
    • Personal awareness instruction related to emergency response procedures
  3. Behavioral Support Implementation
    • Implementation of behavior support plans developed by licensed professionals
    • Observation and documentation of behavior-related data for review by care coordinators
    • Use of de-escalation methods when staff training and authorization apply
    • Reinforcement of appropriate social interaction and routine participation
  4. Socialization and Community Participation

    (As authorized within the ISP)

    • Support for communication skill development, including the use of assistive communication devices (AAC)
    • Assistance with participation in recreational activities, community programs, and volunteer opportunities
    • Facilitation of peer interaction in community and home-based settings
    • Support with education- or employment-related activities, when included in the ISP
  5. Health Maintenance Activities

    • Assistance with scheduling and coordinating healthcare follow-up visits
    • Accompaniment to medical or therapy appointments when included in the ISP
    • Support with the use and basic care of durable medical equipment (DME) and assistive technology
  6. Family and Caregiver Training and Support
    • Instructions for families and caregivers on strategies outlined in the ISP
    • Short-term caregiver relief services are authorized separately
    • Ongoing communication regarding progress and service updates
    • Assistance with caregiver planning and coordination needs
  7. Service Coordination Activities
    • Collaboration with Support Coordinators (Case Managers) and interdisciplinary team members
    • Participation in ISP meetings, assessments, and service updates
    • Documentation of daily service activities, goal tracking, incidents, and required records in accordance with program requirements
